Mom, I lit this candle for you because you ARE the light when I need guidance and my voice of reason. You will never be forgotten. I will forever celebrate your life (your amazing journey). I'll be okay because I know you are with me, guiding me as my Guardian Angel. I found something with a butterfly of yours on it today...and I knew it was a symbol that you are happy and safe. Thanks for letting me know you are okay. You made me the woman I am today and the woman I will be in the future, the wife and mother I will one day become.
Thank you for giving me an amazing 24 years to spend with you. Having YOU as my mom is my GREATEST memory. I truly had the most beautiful mother ever. We have the greatest and most unique relationship that no one could ever replace. You are not only my mother, but my best friend. I'm proud of you for being so brave and being the fighter that you are. If anyone knows the true meaning of life, it's you. You lived every day as if it were your last and by doing this, you touched so many people's lives and hearts.
We share so many memories. I'm looking forward to visiting with you in my dreams, and celebrating your life and the incredible woman you are. I'll make sure to take good care of Jeff. We have each other to fall back on...he loves you unconditionally. You both are great parents, and I don't think I ever said that enough.
I'll see you someday. When? I'm not sure, but when it's my turn, we can go shopping forever.
