WALLINGFORD - Blanche C. Steele, 44, departed this life on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at the Hospital of St. Raphael. She was born in Meriden, July 3, 1967, a daughter of Anita (Grinbergs) Steele of Wallingford and the late George E. Steele. She had previously worked at the Yale School of Medicine in New Haven. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two brothers, Jude D. Steele of South Meriden and James L. Steele and his wife Anne of West Haven; and a sister and brother-in-law, Theresa Dezso and her husband Theodore of Shelton. She was predeceased by a brother, George F. Steele. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 10:30 AM at SS. Peter and Paul Church, 139 N Orchard St., Wallingford. Burial will follow at the In Memoriam Cemetery, Wallingford.
