Richard Kevin Walsh was born Dec. 16th, 1952, and lived nearly his entire life in New Haven County. He loved playing softball, poker and pool, and was a dedicated football and baseball fan. Richie had a great sense of humor, often bringing smiles from friends and family; he will be missed dearly. Richard is predeceased by his parents William and Margret Walsh, and by his ex-wife Maureen Peterson. He is survived by his three children: Jason Peterson (37) Sweden, Bridget Peterson (33) Florida, and Beverly Walsh (27) CT; by two sisters: Sharen Walsh - Florida and Katherine Walsh - Tennessee; and by two beautiful granddaughters: Madison Fagan (10) and Makayla McDougall (2). The family would also like to recognize Gail Piscitelli and Nina Schultz, who were both very important in Richard's life. Friends may call Tuesday from 2:30-3:30PM at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S Elm St., Wallingford. A service will follow at 3:30PM.
