To those of you reading this I wanted to share some of my own personal memories with you of my mom. As you all know my mother loved kids; not just her own but everyone elses too. Melissa, Felicia, Paul and Jr- know mommy adopted you all out of love, not because she thought she had to or you needed her to -understand it was because she wanted to. She loved you each unconditionally. My mother also loved her job working with not only the children but the parents of those in her buddy program. I can recall over the past few month seeing how excited she got helping with the buddy program. Anyone who knows my mom , knows she loved to watch her daughters perform whether it was dancing, singing or a theatrical play my mother always seemed the happiest in the audience watching one of our shows. We sang the song HOME numerous times and dedicated it to her because it was her favorite. In her most recent years her grandchildren became her most precious possessions. They sparked the flame that kept her moving on and providing her will power to stay alive. From watching Tristan and Jalen run wild to Jack grow up from a young boy to a teenager, to seeing Dean as a man working on his music career kept that fire burning and that flame was burning brighter knowing in June she was about to have a granddaughter. I want to take the time to thank some of her dearest friends; Wendy Demilia- so many memories here in our younger years. I cant remember to often that David nor you werent around. I know my mom talked about loving to see you again. Janet and Frank Sergi-on my moms list of things to accomplish was to get better and walk so she can take the drive to Florida for a chance to see you both again, I've heard the story of me walking at a young age onto your campsite which started the friendship of a lifetime. I'm glad I could be of assistance...:) Diane Wolfe, Tiny and Duke Pesticci-how blessed she felt after all these years to have you back in her life-the cards and the emails gave her hope for the day she would be able to visit you...To ALL the wonderful friends from CAFAP who became more than friends but family to her, I thank you for all the times you came and checked on mom and lifted her spirits over and over again especially Pat Gray-The stories of laughter my mom told us about the jokes she played on you will live in our hearts and hopfully all of yours for the rest of your lives. To her brothers: Jimmy, Robert and Johnny- I hope you all new what you ment to her. Family was her life. She talked to me often and expressed how much she wished she was able to move around better and do an outing with you all. It was something she kept on her to-do list and had hopes to accomplish that with Carmen (one of her nurses (therapists) from the VNA whom she liked very much. We also discussed on many occasions the big Vitale picnics and holiday parties that are so missed. To my sisters: Mommy will always be close. She will never be far from any of you. Jaimie-you know mom was so proud of you. You (unlike me lol) always did things the right way, the responsible and mature way and the way that made her most proud. She would want you to know that. She loved those boys of yours and cherished and looked forward to seeing them everyday. You gave her strength and helped her to feel like the grandmother she so needed to be. You through her off schedule when 4:00 ran around and you werent there. Rosemarie- Moms little spitfire sense birth. She treasured you. She always knew that you would have the back of any of us in the family regardless of the situation. Like her, for you family is everything. She always told me you were the one with the luck and if their was a will you could find away. She loved having you around especially with Jack- Jack one of grandma's pride and joys. Jack, Gramma loved you. She even loved doing your homework with you and was so proud of the young man you became. All the help you gave her made her feel very special to have a grandson like you. When you feel sad and down just take a moment because you'

We are so sorry to hear of your unexpected loss. Your mom was a wonderful woman, she had a comforting way about her, in an instant she made you feel like part of her family, like you've always belonged. I remember your mom sitting next to me at one of the competitions cheering on Naya louder than me like as if she were her own! LOL...She was special don't forget that, death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal..LOVE LEAVES A MEMORY NO ONE CAN STEAL! xoxoxo..Shauna & family

I used to call you mommie Linda, I used to come to the house to visit Jen and you were always open arms to myself and definitely to my kids. It wasn't one time that you did not try to feed me LOL and if I did not want to eat, you would tell me you made it especially for me. So I ate, I know you did not make it just for me, but I knew it was only LOVE. You will be missed!!
