Obituary of Margaret (Edie) Albone, 98 of Wallingford, formerly of Waterbury & Oakville, died, Monday, March 7th at Masonicare. Margaret is predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Harry G. Albone. Margaret was born in Waterbury on December 15, 1912, daughter of William and Katherine Flisher. She live in Oakville most of her life. Margaret was a life long member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Oakville where she served on many committees. She was a long time member of the Altar Guild. She was also a brownie and girl scout leader. Margaret worked at Chases in Waterbury for 20 years. Margaret leaves a son William Albone (Sharon) of Wallingford, a daughter Nancy Palmer (Wil) of Oakville, one grandson, Greg Albone (Christie) of Newport, RI, three granddaughters, Tricia Palmer of Oakville, Kimberly Danaher (Brian) also of Oakville, Holly Albone of Eugene, OR, two Great-grandaughters Ashley Cancel of Oakville and Sahalie Albone of Eugene, OR., and two great grandsons, Shawn and Dylan Danaher both of Oakville. She also leaves a brother, Kenneth Flisher (Kay) of Middlebury and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff of Ramage 4 for all the support and care they provided to Edie during her years on the unit. Everyone was loving and caring. And thanks to Masonicare Hospice for the care and concern they provided to Edie and to the family. A memorial service will be held at All Saints Church, 262 Main St. Oakville on Saturday, March 19th at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Book of Remembrance of All Saints Church, or to the Masonic Chartity Foundation, PO Box 70, Wallingford, CT. B. C.
