AGAWAM, MA - Haralambos "Bobby" Akumianakis, 67, of Agawam, beloved husband of Gayle (Shaw) Akumianakis, departed this life on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, surrounded by his loving family. Bobby was born on August 1, 1943, in Greece, son of the late, Stavros and Georgia (Gagani) Akumianakis. He worked a self employed Mason for many years in the construction industry. He was a Mason at St. Paul's Algonquin Lodge AF & AM. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing, and visiting his home country of Greece. He will be sadly missed by his wife Gayle of Agawam, MA a brother, Manouso Akumianakis and his wife Angela of Greece, along with several nieces and nephews. All services are being held privately at the convenience of the family.
