Barbara C. Duplessis, 84, of Wallingford, departed this life on December 27, 2010 surrounded by family at her home in Wallingford. She was the loving wife of the late George Duplessis. Barbara was born on October 26, 1926, in Meriden, CT, a daughter of the late George L. and May (Pendleton) Craig. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Joan D. Quirk and David of Meriden; sons: William James Duplessis and Kareena of Willimantic; her grandchildren Brian Quirk and Kevin Quirk and also Kristen Duplessis and Erika Duplessis and her husband Tim Rhodes; and a great grandchild, Brennan Quirk. Barbara also leaves behind special friends: Bertha Melanson, Mae Ferguson and Kris Arnold. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, December 30 from 10:00 AM � 11:50 AM at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm Street, Wallingford. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the In Memoriam Cemetery.
