WALLINGFORD - Russell "Russ" Asprelli, 65, of Wallingford, beloved husband of 43 years to Theresa (Maciszewski) Asprelli, departed this life on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at the Hospital of St. Raphael surrounded by his loving family. Russ was born on October 29, 1945 in New Haven, CT, son of the late Albert and Helen (Stagni) Asprelli. He was employed by Westchester Motor Lines and later by Winkle Bus Company. In his spare time he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and most importantly spending time with his six beloved grandchildren and family. He will be sadly missed by his wife Theresa of Wallingford and their three daughters: Tina Zenisky of Wallingford, Kimberly Updegraff and her husband Brandon of Wolcott, and Christine Asprelli of Wallingford. He also leaves one brother Raymond Asprelli and his wife Andrea of Wallingford and a sister, Linda Charbonneau of ND, along with six beloved grandchildren: Stephen, Justin, Gabriel, Madison, Nathan, and Kameron along with several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a brother Martin Asprelli. Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, December 19th from 1 - 3:30 PM at the B. C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford. A funeral service will held following the visitation at 3:30 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
