Obituary of Mildred Heydt

WALLINGFORD � Mildred W. Heydt of Ashlar Village at Masonicare, formerly of 17 Parallel Street, Norwalk, died Friday, December 10, 2010, at Wallingford. She was the wife of the late R. Robert Heydt. She was born in New York City, NY, September 9, 1917, a daughter of the late Percy and Florence Wheeler Wilson. Mrs. Heydt was a past worthy matron of Berkeley Chapter #96, Order of the Eastern Star, in Norwalk. She received an Associate�s degree in archeology from Norwalk Community College in her late 50s. She is survived by four sons, Richard R. Heydt, III of Burkburnett, TX, William H. Heydt of Norwalk, Peter J. Heydt of Bincennes, IN, and Charles G. (Skip) Cunningham of Ashburn, VA, two daughters, Linda Cunningham of Southbury and Virginia McGrath of Colorado Springs, CO, 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. A private memorial service and burial will be held on Thursday, December 16, at the Masonic Healthcare Center in Wallingford. There are no calling hours. If friends so desire, gifts in her memory may be made to the National Parkinson�s Foundation, 1501 NW 9th Avenue/Bob Hope Drive, Miami, FL 33136-1494. The B.C.
