WALLINGFORD - Sarah "Sadie" Wolfgang lived a full and loved filled life. On November 6th, in the early morning hours, she knew her time had come. With her beloved husband, Gordon beside her Sarah left on her final journey. Sarah was born in Wallingford on March 25, 1919. She met her one and only love, Gordon, at Zion Lutheran Church on Ward Street. In 1944 they married there. They built a strong, loving and faith-filled life on Pond Hill Road. On November 4th Sarah and Gordon celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary with their family. Sarah was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Charlotte Dorau, her sisters Alice, Mabel, Florence and her brothers Ernest and Albert. Sarah leaves behind to mourn her loss her husband , Gordon, her children Charlotte Nesdale, Gordon Wolfgang Jr. and his wife Marjee. Her grandchildren Jeffrey Wolfgang-Ford,Jennifer O'Connor and Holly St.Amant and their husbands James O'Connor and Ernest St.Amant. Last but not least, her treasured great grandchildren Becky and Abbi Ford and Chase and Owen St.Amant. Until we meet again... Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, November 9th at Zion Lutheran Church from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM. A funeral service will follow at the church at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at In Memoriam Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to: Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 235 Pond Hill Road, Wallingford, CT 06492. The B. C.
