WILLINGTON - Georgina MacKay Saxton died peacefully in her sleep at home in Willington, CT on Saturday, (September 11, 2010). Georgina was born on November 16, 1940 in Edinburgh, Scotland. She was the daughter of William and Margaret Keddie of Edinburgh. Gina graduated from Boroughmuir Academy in Edinburgh before coming to the United States. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Reed Saxton and by three brothers � James Keddie and is wife Pamela of London Ontario, Canada, Kenneth Keddie and his wife Maria of Toronto, Canada, and William Keddie and his wife Isobel of Currie, Scotland as well as a younger sister Catherine Fagan of Floral Park, N.Y. Gina is also survived by her mother-in-law, Helen F. Saxton of Pawleys Inland, S.C. and two sisters-in-law, Gail Tucker and her husband Harold of Murrels Inlet, S.C. and Lynne Smith and her husband Alan of Murrells Inlet, S.C. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Georgina spent most of here working years as secretary to several prominent Connecticut psychiatrists before retiring due to health problems from multiple sclerosis. A private funeral and burial will be held at the family cemetery in Barnstable, NH The B. C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford has been entrusted with arrangements.
