WALLINGFORD � Louis T. Stowik, 69, of Wallingford, beloved husband of Elaine (Bishop) Stowik, departed this life on Monday, August 23, 2010 at Village Green Healthcare Center. Louis was born on August 28, 1940 in Meriden, CT, son of the late Louis T. Stowik Sr. and Florence (Gucwa) Stowik. He retired from Ulbrich Steel after 28 years. Louis was a past president and trustee of the Eagles Club of Wallingford, a member of Elks Lodge #1365 and Auxillary member VFW Post 591. He was an avid fisherman and diehard Yankees and Giants fan. He will be sadly missed by his wife Elaine of Wallingford. Three sons: Thomas Stowik and his wife Catherine of Middletown, Glenn Stowik and his wife Valerie of Wallingford, and Sean Stowik and his wife Denise of Wallingford. He also leaves a twin brother Lawrence Stowik of Baltimore, MD, and seven beloved grandchildren: Turner, Paxton, Skylar, Tyler, Isabelle, Thomas Jr., and Mia and many extended family members. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 27th at 9:30 AM at Most Holy Trinity Church of Wallingford. Interment will follow in St. John�s Cemetery in Wallingford. The B. C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford has been entrusted with arrangements.
