WALLINGFORD � Helen I. Lehmann, 90, of Wallingford, beloved wife of the late Joseph Lehmann, departed this life on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Mid-State Medical Center. Helen was born on April 18, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Julius and Mary (Koeking) Racy. She was a communicant of Most Holy Trinity Church in Wallingford, and also a member of the Wallingford Senior Center, VA Women�s Auxillary, and the Red Hat Society along with being an avid bowler. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by her children: Joseph F. Lehmann Jr. and his wife Janelle of Missouri, Richard J. Lehmann and his wife Cindy of Stafford Springs, James Lehmann and his partner Larry of Delaware, Lawrence H. Lehmann and his partner Jeanine of New York, Stephanie M. Cigna and her husband Ken of New York, Roseann E. Venturini and her husband Joe of New York and Helene F. Capozzi and her husband William of Wallingford. She also leaves one sister Elizabeth Dow of New York and 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her grandson Joseph F. Lehmann III. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, August 11th from 5- 8 PM at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 12th at 9:15 AM at Most Holy Trinity Church in Wallingford. Interment will follow in Center Street Cemetery.
