WALLINGFORD � Bruce Earl Hartman, 65, of Winter Haven, FL and formerly of Wallingford, departed this life on August 5, 2010 in Winter Haven. Bruce was born on January 29, 1945 in Meriden, CT, son of Earl and Susan Hartman. He retired, after 32 years from the town of Wallingford in the sewer department as a pump station maintainer. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and a communicant of Most Holy Trinity Church in Wallingford and St. Matthew Catholic Church in Florida. Mr. Hartman was pilot and golfer who had a good sense of humor and enjoyed life to the fullest. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Danuta Hartman, sons Jay and his wife Jennifer of Haddam Neck, CT, Adam and wife Joanna, and his grandson Benjamin and Nathaniel, Walkersville, MD, mother; Susan Hartman, Monroe, NC; brothers Mark Hartman, Monroe, NC, James Hartman and his wife Joanne of Middletown, CT, and many good friends and family. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, August 11th from 4 � 7 PM at the B. C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 12th at 10:30 AM at Most Holy Trinity Church in Wallingford. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
