WALLINGFORD - Ruby W. Gale, 96, of Wallingford, beloved wife of the late George P. Gale, departed this life on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at the Masonic Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving family. Ruby was born April 21, 1914 in New Haven, CT daughter of the late Henry and Ruby (Bradley) Wilson. During the war she worked for International Silver Factory L, manufacturing shell casings later she spent her time raising her family. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and knitting. She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Georgia Gale of Wallingford and Barbara Gale of Fort Lauderdale, FL. She also leaves her beloved granddaughters: Sandra Arnold, Donna Funk, Sherry Byczynski, Beth Barillaro, and Meg Gwara along with 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son Richard B. Gale and her sister, Jennie Lee. All services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at In Memoriam Cemetery. The B. C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford has been entrusted with arrangements.
