Francis Robert Condon, 73, of Wallingford, peacefully departed this life on Thursday, July 8, 2010 surrounded by his family at the MidState Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Anne (Cummins) Condon. Francis was born on April 6, 1937, in Meriden, CT, a son of the late Francis and Louise (Vitali) Condon, Sr. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a proud member of the Teamsters Local 443. He was a proud husband, father and grandfather and his family was the center of his life. In addition to his wife he will be sadly missed by his daughters Susan Duprey and her husband Bob, Kathleen Lackman and her husband Ken; his sons Daniel Condon and Charles Condon and his wife Geniene all of Wallingford; his beloved grandchildren: Bobby and Katie Duprey, Mathew Kremzar and Megan Lackman, and Jennah, Keighley and Lauren Condon. He is also survived by his brother James Condon of Cheshire. He is preceded in death by his son Michael Condon. Funeral services are private. There are no calling hours. Burial will be at the St. John Cemetery in Wallingford. The B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm Street, Wallingford has been entrusted with the arrangements.
