MERIDEN � Marion L. Beckwith, 85, formerly of High Street, Wallingford, went home to the Lord on May 14, 2010 at the Meriden Center. She was born in Presque Isle, ME on November 22, 1924, a daughter of the late Frank W. and Ida (Niles) Beckwith. Prior to her retirement, Marion worked as a bookkeeper at the Stanley-Judd Company. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wallingford and the Business and Professional Women�s Organization. She had also been a member of the Red Hat Society and was very active with the First Baptist Church Women�s Guild. She is survived by a brother, Russell Beckwith; a brother-in-law, William Burrill; four nephews, Gerald, James, David and Steven Beckwith; and three nieces, Sharon Smith, Wendy Funk and Carol Christiansen. She was predeceased by her brother, Roland S. Beckwith; a sister, Marjorie Burrill; and her nephew, Alan Beckwith. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 19th at 12:00 (NOON) at the First Baptist Church of Wallingford, 114 North Main Street. Burial will follow at the In Memoriam Cemetery, Wallingford. Friends may call at the church from 11:00 � 12:00 (NOON) prior to the funeral. It is suggested that gifts in her memory be made to the First Baptist Church of Wallingford, 114 North Main St., Wallingford, CT 06492. The B. C.
