Obituary of Shannon Piccirillo

NORTH HAVEN - Shannon Piccirillo, 37, of North Haven, departed this life on Saturday, April 17, 2010 quietly at home. Shannon was born on August 5, 1972 in New Haven, CT daughter of Nancy (Macaboy) Delgado and stepfather Jeffrey Delgado and James F. McNamara and stepmother Sharon McNamara. She was a 1990 graduate North Branford High School. She later recieved her cosmetology license from Gal Mar Academy. She had been employed at Phil's, Broadway Hair, and most recently at Hair Niche. She was currently employed at Walmart as a Customer Service Manager. Shannon will be remembered for her laughter and her kindness to people she knew and loved. She will be sadly missed by her husband Anthony Piccirillo of North Haven, Her mother and stepfather, Nancy and Jeffrey Delgado of Clinton, and her father and stepmother, James and Sharon McNamara of Clinton. She leaves her two beloved children: Nicholas "Nicpic" Piccirillo and Chelsea "Chicky" Piccirillo both of Clinton. She also leaves her brothers, Sean McNamara of East Haven, James McNamara of Clinton and Colin McNamara also of Clinton. Shannon leaves two grandparents: Barbara Macaboy of Hamden, and Irving McNamara of Hamden. She leaves her aunts and uncles, Savannah Woods, Lynn & Kenny Schmidt, Carol & Howard Greenberg, Tricia & Ray Blanks, Paul & Chris Macaboy, Meg McNamara - Lucey , Bobby & Karin McNamara, and numerous cousins. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, April 21st from 4 - 6 PM at the B. C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday at the White Oak Baptist Church in Wallingford. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery in North Haven. Memorial contributions may be contributed to the Piccirillo Scholarship Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
