I remember Thelma when I first started my volunteer services at Masonic Healthcare Ctr. Every Saturday morning she was the first person I would seek out to bring up to coffee hour. I usually never found her in her room, but always knew she would be sitting down at the end of the hall in the chair facing out to the "deck", either reading or relaxing in the sun light. Always willing to go, Thelma and I would walk up to the 4th floor where she always sat with her friend Mary at the first table. It was very sad for me when they moved her to where she no longer was able to go out.
Thelma was so full of life and will be missed dearly. She talked about her family often, and always with a smile. I hope to have the pleasure of meeting her again when my life on earth is complete.
