Dotty,
I will never forget you, or your kind personlity. You made everyday worthwhile. You were like a grandmother that I never had, with an unforgettable laugh and smile. Whether it be you giving me advice about life and boys, or just our contagious jokes and laughter, I cherished it all. You will always hold a place in my heart.
_Rebekah.

To my Aunt Dottie,
I will never forget the kindness you showed to me and my mother after my dad passed away. It was you who kept us in the Cannata family. I will always remember you for your sweet smile and gentle way. I will also miss your Christmas card every year. Rest in Peace and give everyone in heaven a kiss for me, especially my dad.

She was a loving addition to our extended family and will be missed. Everytime I saw her throughout my life she was energetic and happy. A model to live anyone's life by. She'll be sadly missed.

When I was first introduced to Dorothy at St. Joes, I was immediately struck by her energy and the warm, soulful twinkle in her eyes. She struck me as someone who never forgot how to have fun and who lived her life knowing that every day was a gift and a chance to make the world a better place, just by being the wonderful person that God created.
Now that she is in Heaven, her legacy is the smile that comes to the face of anyone whos life was blessed to have known her. I did not know her well, but feel lucky to have had my life touched by her beautiful nature and warm smile for the short time that I did. Please know that you are all in my prayers in this difficult time.

Where do I begin. The first day i walked into the Cannata home with Darlene, I was welcomed. Dorothy always made me feel like part of the family. I knew she genuinely cared about me and how I was doing as a person. She was always there for my children and grandchildren when we visited. Her positive energy will be miss by everyone who knew and loved her. I will miss her, but I am glad she didn't suffer at all. She lived her full life right up to the last minute.

We will miss Dorothy very much. She was always a very important part of our lives growing up. She was a neighbor and watched us when we were little, but after a while and all through my life she was like a big sister. She was there at all our happy and sad times and we will always remember her with love. Ricki Alpert Salter

Nanette, Darlene, Larry and Mary and Families -
I am sorry to hear about your Mom. She was a truly special woman, who always had a kind word to say when I would run into her at Stop and Shop. I know you all are going to miss her, and I want you to know you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this time of sadness.
My sincere sympathy,
