Micahael was different. I never knew anyone like him. He open my eyes to things I never imagine. He stressed to me the importance of always having your remote control by your side. He supplied me with countless jokes which I was able to share as my own with his permission. We had a blast at A Yankee Playoff game something I never thought I would do and something I have not done again. There was that special moment when he was so impressed with my dress code that he went to "Today's Man" and bought a matching outfit and came to the job for my approval.He was a funny guy. Of course he also found out I wanted a certain coat and went and bought it before me and came to show that as well.
Mike was always cool it always seemed like nothing bother him. Julie and El you guys are cool as well and I am so sorry for your lost.

Dearest Julita. How can words soothe the pain and sorrow that you and Elliot are feeling at this time? Some thirty years have passed since meeting Michael. Never once did I think about this moment. With age comes wisdom, but sadness walks alongside. Loosing friends and loved ones is a part of the cruelties of life, but this part of life no one wants to face.
Julieanne and Michael met in
Reno, Nevada, while Julie was visiting me and my fiance, Gene, before her entering PA School. They fell in love, and weeks later Michael relocated with Gene to CT.. He and Gene drove from the West Coast, and our lives together continued, through marriage, children, good times, and bad times. One thing always remained the same... "Our Friendship"
Michael had a gentleness that not everyone saw, a love of children, and an ease, in the ability to go with the moment.
I witnessed his love for his children and Julieanne, a thousand times over. When many others would have shut down, their love and commitment to each other kept them going as a family.
Michael and I spoke often and shared many memories and thoughts on life. Although our families continued in different directions we never lost touch with how important we all were to each other.
I take comfort, not in the sense that Michael's suffering is over, but in knowing he and Eric are together remembering how much they loved, and how much they are loved.
Julieanne and Elliot, from my family to yours, remember you are loved, and will never be alone.
Thank you all, Michael, Julieanne, Elliot, and Eric, for sharing your life and memories with us.
