I happened upon notice and my heart goes out to the family of Esther Hurlburt. Though I do not know the family I want to convey my sympathy and share a thought from the bible that comforts me. Our heavenly Father Jehovah is a God of love and he hates to see us in pain. This thought is supported by Revelation 21:3,4, where it says, "And he will wipe out every tear from thier eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore". I personally cannot wait for that time. Also we await the fulfillment of John 5:28 where it brings out that all those in the memorial tombs will come out. What a time of celebration this will be when we will be crying tears of joy instead of sadness. I hope that you find comfort in these scriptures as I have when dealing with the loss of a loved one.
