MY FONDEST MEMORY OF HUTCH IS WHEN I WAS DRIVING A BUS FOR NBT AND HAD SOME PROBLEMS WITH SOME UNRULY KIDS. DISPATCH TOLD ME TO PULL OVER AND WAIT, THAT SOMEONE WILL BE THERE TO ASSIST ME. THIS BLUE SUBURBAN PULLS UP BEHIND ME AND I SEE THIS OLDER GUY GET OUT. HE WALKS OVER TO THE BUS DOSENT SAY ANYTHING TO ME AND JUST LAYS INTO THESE KIDS AND AS HE WAS GETTING OFF THE BUS HE INTRODUCES
HIMSELF. I NEVER HAD ANOTHER PROBLEM WITH THOSE KIDS. I NEVER TOLD HIM THANK YOU SO THANKS HUTCH- YOU WILL BE MISSED

I will always remember Hutch as a wonderful caring loving father...oh how he loved his children and how I loved hearing about the family vacations!
It was my pleasure to have worked with such a wonderful person. My condolences to the family...life won't be the same without him...But all of our lives are better because of HIM.

I had the pleasure of working with Hutch for many years. As I was a special education teacher, he took great pride in helping me with our population of students. When he left, he was missed as was his visits in the gray staion wagon. My thoughts are with you.

Words cannot express how much Hutch meant to me through the years. He was my boss, my friend, my mentor, and my champion. Even now my incredible sadness at losing him is lightened every time we talk about him-there are so many funny stories that people have to share about Hutch. Love never dies.
