Obituary of Thomas Robbins
WALLINGFORD - Thomas S. Robbins, 70, of Wallingford, beloved husband of Linda (Scott) Robbins, departed this life on Sunday, January 27, 2008 at the West Haven Veterans Hospital.
Tom was born on December 26, 1937 in Plymouth, MA, son of Jeanie (Rushton) Robbins and the late Frank Robbins.
Tom received his education in Hartford Public Schools. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and later employed with Pratt & Whitney, as a machinist in North Haven for 10 years before becoming disabled in a motorcycle accident.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Linda of Wallingford along with one son, Damon Robbins of Meriden, and one daughter Darby Biddle and her husband Frank of Meriden. He leaves his mother Jeanie Robbins of Southington. Two brothers, Dana Robbins of Burlington, and Raymond Robbins of WV. He leaves four grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Kyle, Spencer, and Madalyn. Besides his father he is preceded in death by one sister, Ann Gokey and two brothers, David and Wayne Robbins.
All services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of the B. C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford. Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of one's choice.
