Jill & family, I remember the good times at Humiston & CHS.Charlie always was spreading joy & enjoying the what ever the day woul'd bring. He made everyone around him better by example. I last saw him at the meat counter in Everybodies in Cheshire. It was great to talk to him again. He is in my thoughts & prayers. Fred C. Cheshire (1951-1988)

I was so saddened to read about Charlie's passing. I had the honor to work for Charlie at First Federal and Jefferson Federal. He taught me more about life and business ethics than any other boss that I ever had. In my professional life after the bank, I carried what I learned from Charlie as a boss thru my career. He was always there to lend a helping hand or to just listen to me in the traumas of learning about life. What a man...his spirit will live on forever. What a loss. Sorry to you and your family. I am so sorry for your lost. Charlie was such a good husband and father. I will always remember those day growing up and having so much fun at Eaton drive. Charlie alwasy had a big smile on his face when he came into the store to see us. If you need anything just call.

Jill, It is with much sadness that we learn of Charlies passing. We will always remember the good times we had on Eaton Drive with both of you and the Dows. I worked with Charlie at Jefferson Federal. He was a wonderful person to work with. He always had a smile for you and a kind word. Charlie was one of the nicest men I ever met. He always had a nice welcoming smile whenever I saw him and always made me feel so welcomed in his home. He had a geat sense of humor and he was a great listener with good advice if you needed it. For me, as the father of my best friend I will miss him even if I didnt see him as much as I would have liked to. I send my deepest sympathy to Jill,Lisa,Greg and the rest of his family.
