Obituary of Blanca Vilella
WALLINGFORD - Blanca A. Vilella, 90, of 35 East Side Terrace, formerly of Puerto Rico died Sunday, March 4, 2007 at the Skyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Tito H. Romero.
She was born in Lares, Puerto Rico, August 20, 1916 a daughter of the late Jaime and Ventura Grajales Vilella.
She has been a resident of Wallingford since 1994 and was a communicant of the Most Holy Trinity Church.
She is survived by two sons, Angel Mario Romero and wife Ana of Wallingford and Jose Miguel Romero and wife Iris of San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, a daughter, Lillian Tanch and husband Louis of Wallingford, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Francisco Vilella and Jaime Vilella, Jr.
The funeral will leave the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm St. on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. for a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at the Most Holy Trinity Church, 84 North Colony Rd., Wallingford. Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. .
