Barbara was an inspiration and a kind and caring person. I felt like she was a close friend from the minute I met her. She was always positive, even when things, for her, weren't. I learned a lot about life and pain from Barbara. Somehow she always found the strength to keep trudging on.
I will always remember Barbara and hope that I was able to absorb at least a little of her grace and compassion. She will always be with me as a role model and friend. I think of her often and miss her as I wend my way through life.
Thank you, Barbara, for caring and listening to me go on and on about my petty problems while yours were looming large behind you. I hope that someday I might be able to return the favors you have done me to someone else who really needs it, like I needed you when you were there for me.
