WALLINGFORD – Barbara Haverly-Donlan, 76, of 38 Carr St., passed away Saturday, September 16, 2006 at the CT Hospice in Branford. She was the wife of Anthony Donlan and the late James E. Haverly. She was born in New Haven, May 27, 1930 a daughter of the late Joseph and Emma Gerwig Brown. Barbara was a graduate of Dean Junior College. She was employed as a dietitian at the Grace-New Haven Hospital and Gaylord Hospital until becoming membership secretary for the Wallingford Y.M.C.A. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Wallingford and the CT Antique Dealers Assoc. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, James C. Haverly and wife Teresa of Marietta, GA, two daughters, Karen J. Centner and husband Richard of Cape Coral, FL and Pamela Souchuns and husband Peter of Wallingford, a sister, Joan Davis and husband Evan of Myrtle Beach, SC, a step-son, Timothy Donlan of Guilford and a step-daughter, Melissa Donlan of Guilford, eight grandchildren and two nieces. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 20, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Congregational Church of Wallingford, 23 South Main St. Burial will be at Montowese Cemetery in North Haven.
