I have had the privilege of working with Phil ( and also his wife, Mabel ) in the Wallingford Adult Ed. program for quite a few years. I had worked with Mabel, also a wonderful person, prior to Phil's employment as a GED math teacher at our Learning Center. It didn't take long after I met him to see that Phil was a man of integrity, great intelligence, a devote Christian, and a true gentleman. He was such an inspiration to all who he came in contact with. Heaven has gained another GEM. Rest in PEACE, Phil.
