Dear Kevin and Cyr Family...
We were so sorry to learn of Irene's passing! We were best friends in High School and beyond! When Irene came to visit me in California when my husband was deployed to Viet Nam, she brought with her love, friendship and understanding. She calmed my soul and made me "feel at home"! We have lost touch through the years but I always hold her in my heart whenever I think of her and her wonderful sisters! We send to you our heartfelt sympathy and prayers!

I just found out about Irene's passing. Pete and I are so very sorry. There are not enough words to describe this awesome, giving, beautiful person that I have come to know through all these years. Irene was everything to everyone. A wife, friend, confidant and a loving Sister. The heavens have received an ANGEL. Rest in Peace my friend with all my love always. You will never be forgotten! It is with a heavy heart that I write this condolence for my friend for over 20 years. She was such a beautiful, caring, compassionate person. In all the years we worked together at Cablewaves/RFS I can only recall her bright, energetic personality. My only regret is that I didn't spend more time with Irene in her final years in this life. My thoughts and prayers are with Kevin, Betty, Jean (Chicky), and the rest of Irene's family and friends. Love you Irene!

I was blessed to work with Irene a few years before she retired from RFS. What a warm, generous soul she was to all of us. She saw to it that our office was decorated at holidays and would bring in glorious flowers from her garden for all to enjoy. Every December, she’d bring in dozens of calendars to share that she got from donating to numerous charities. Irene had smiles & abundant love that never ran out, as though it was her calling. Those who worked with her were showered with her home-baked goodies, birthday cakes, and gifts at Christmas and birthdays. One could never forget this admirable soul.

I was lucky to have known Irene for over 15 years. She was an amazing co-worker and friend. Always with a smile, it was easy to be around her. She was truly a GOOD soul, caring, loving and kind. I am so sorry for Irene's passing. I felt I was loosing a piece of my heart.
I started working with her in Cablewave Systems, actually then it was called Phelps Dodge. We shared many happy times and sad times together. She was a great and loving friend, the best that I could have asked for!
Irene did have a comedian side. She did blame me for getting her and her family interested in the Boston Terrier! I said what are friends for? She looked at me and rolled her eyes.
Irene, I will never forget you and will love you forever! Rest in peace.
