I want to express my deepest sympathies to Kathy, Karen and the rest of the family for the loss of a memorable member of the family that was Joe.
I will remember Joe for some of the most joyful years of my life. I give him all the credit for introducing me to gardening, stuffed peppers, sourdough bread (flour ended up all over the kitchen), hiking in the woods and of course fishing. He was such a gentleman for always baiting the hook with worms for me (eeewww).
We shared the love of reading and dogs. We were lucky enough to have had 2 amazing schnauzers. Thank you Kathy for introducing us to the breed. Christy was a sweetheart.
The world feels a little out of kilter without him. I will miss the wonderful man I met and married. He will always have a special place in my heart.
I am offering my condolences to Joe's sisters, Kathleen Chamberlain, Karen Dickerson and their families. I will surely miss Joe's visits to our home. He loved to talk, telling us his stories, mostly about his hiking, biking and fishing adventures.
