Our heartfelt prayers and sympathies are being extended to the family and friends of Jamie.
On behalf of all of us who work at the Broad Brook Post Office, (Jamie's first CT appointment after her move from Texas), we will always remember her wonderful sense of humor and her warmth creating a strong and immediate bond of family with us. Every day was fun and we certainly shared a lot of laughs. She was so easygoing she made work a pleasure. We missed her when she was promoted and moved on to her next assignment, so quickly from when she had arrived. Now we will miss her even more and will carry her memory in our hearts forever.

We are extremely sorry for your loss. I only met Jamie and Logan once when they had an unexpected over night in Tampa and was able to help them get to the Airport. We love Gary and Jeri Ann very much and we will continue to pray that everyone is able to cope with their very unfortunate loss.

I am so sorry for your loss and I am stunned to hear of Jamie's death. Jamie was not only a ray of sunshine as others wrote, she was absolutely amazing! She was a great help to me when she was working for the district and I was a new Postmaster. She always a go-to resource for information, a bright spot in the hundreds of emails we needed to go through each week. Her smile, her positive attitude, and her realistic perspective on life in general was both refreshing and encouraging. I will greatly miss her, and her family is already in my prayers. I had the pleasure of working with Jamie in the US Postal Service for many years and saw how hard she worked on a daily basis. Jamie became Postmaster of Broad Brook, CT after I transferred from that position to become the Postmaster of Middlefield, CT. Eventually Jamie became Postmaster in Durham, CT, right next door, so I had contact with her on a weekly basis. We shared employees and work knowledge on a regular basis, always doing what we could to help each other out as issues arose. One true respected friend that I had in the USPS and I have nothing but fond memories of her. My deepest sympathies to all of her family.
