Ed was one of the first people I met at Zion Lutheran Church when hired as Organist and Accompanist who faithfully attended Worship on Saturday's with his sweetheart wife Betty. Such a dedicated and loving husband and so dedicated to his Church, he always had a smile on his face as he generously donated his time to mow the grounds of Zion Church each week. Just last Saturday he and I were joking around together after services. My only regret is not joking around with him longer, and asking him to tell me a war story. Another member of the Greatest Generation, another Veteran lost, rest in peace friend. Pray for us on the other side as we remember your kindness and generosity. -Louis S. Vollono, II.
