Bettina Rose Ferrel Ott, loving wife of the late Gilbert R. Ott for over 50 years, passed away at the age of 98 in Wallingford, Connecticut on July 2, 2013. She is survived by her son Gilbert R. Ott, Jr. of Oyster Bay, New York and his wife Lisa, her daughter Nancy Ott Lynch of Locust Valley, New York and her husband Luke, her four grandchildren, Luke D. Lynch III and his wife Kelly Anne, Bettina Lynch Albert and her husband Chris, Gilbert R. Ott, III and Laura E. Ott, and four great-grandchildren. Her sisters Lucille Brown and Dorothy Kenyon predeceased her. Betty was born on October 18, 1914 to Ralph W. Ferrel and Elizabeth Jones Ferrel in Luzerne, Pennsylvania. She was a beautiful, charming, cheerful and vivacious woman with an unfailing love of her family. Her kindness and thoughtfulness were recognized by all who knew her. She was a wonderful friend to many, especially Fred King of Wallingford.
