WALLINGFORD - Elizabeth O. "Betty" Scovil, 93, of Wallingford, beloved wife of the late Harmon S. Scovil, departed this life on Monday, April 8, 2013 surrounded by her loving family at the Masonic Healthcare Center. Betty was born on August 25, 1919 in New Haven, daughter of the late John and Agnes (Poulton) O'Neil. She worked for many years as the office manager of the family business Harmon S. Scovil Co. Incorporated. Betty was also a long time member of the Order of the Eastern Star and former Treasurer of the 1st United Methodist Church in Branford. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Beverly Woodmansee and her husband David of Milford along with two granddaughters: Jennifer Radawicz Wieland of FL, and Danielle Radawicz Glass of ME. Betty also leaves three step-grandchildren: David Woodmansee of MA, Blair Woodmansee of TX, and Mary McKenna of RI along with 5 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 15th at 10:30 AM at Evergreen Cemetery in New Haven. The B. C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford has been entrusted with arrangements.
