I am saddened to come across this notice. I was in the process of looking up George's telephone number because I wanted to talk to him, when I discovered this. George and I go back 41 years when I first joined Liberty Mutual as a business insurance sales person. Even though George had years of seniority over me w/ the company, he always treated me as an equal and always with the deepest respect. I will certainly miss our occasional conversations, although will always remember with fondness the ones that are part of days gone by. Extending my very best to Yvonne and the rest of the Rutcho family. With fond memories, John Karavas (or as George called me, "Greek!"

To Yvonne and family, I am so sorry to hear about George. When i was first employed by Liberty Mutual, George was my Assistant Loss Prevention Manager. He was my trainer -- taking me out on policyholder visits, teaching me the ins and outs of the LM insurance culture and helping me become a safety consultant. Plus, he introduced me to square dancing. I would meet George and Yvonne and others to square dance. It was great to see George enjoying himself in a completely different atmosphere. To Yvonne and family, George was a very special person to me and my parents. I remember how he use to stop at our home for dinner when he had an appointment in NJ. Dear Yvonne, Fred, Penny and Sue- To know George, Mr. Rutcho, was to love him. He absolutely would light up a room, and never had an unkind word about anyone or anything. My favorite memories will always be him calling me Smiley, and of him dancing with Sue at my wedding 24 years ago.
