I only recently learned of Bob's passing. We were neighbors in the Wethersfield/Rocky Hill area as we both lived either side of the town line. As my parent's backyard was the neighborhood playground for us teens, Bob spent much time there playing croquet or baseball. He did the best he could. We both graduated from Wethersfield High School in the same year (1958) and I vividly recall that when Bob's name was called to receive his diploma and he came to the stage to receive it, he got a standing ovation. The only one to get this honor. Rest in peace, Bob. May your spirit live on forever.
