WALLINGFORD - Isabelle L. Gannon, 98, of Wallingford, departed this life on Monday, April 9, 2012 at the Meriden Center in Meriden. She was the wife of the late William J. Gannon. She was born in Wallingford, May 15, 1913, a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Mesr Leigus. Mrs. Gannon was a life-long resident of Wallingford and a communicant of the Most Holy Trinity Church, Wallingford. She is survived by a daughter, Rosemary Lynch of Bretton Woods, NH, seven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was predeceased by a son, William J. Gannon, a brother, Charles Leigus and a sister, Helen Shookies. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, April 12th from 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM at the B. C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 9:15 AM at Most Holy Trinity Church, 84 North Colony Rd., Wallingford. Friends are asked to go directly to the church. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Wallingford.
