My name is Marilyn (mj) Wagner & Lucy is my dearest friend; a number of times we tried to arrange for me to meet members of her family, especially her mom and brother. I wish I had been able to sit with this man and enjoy getting to know him! Clearly, he was a person who was much loved and respected--obviously deservedly so. I was so very sorry to learn of his illness and then his passing--I too lost a beloved brother some number of years ago and know how grievous is the loss. As family who are so very close, you will in days ahead find the resilience to go on--I am not enamored of the word "closure" as regards those who have gone on to the next world--there truly is no such thing--however, there is a 'road ahead' with challenges, changes and remembrances of our loved ones. I was so interested in learning about Arne's dedication to charitable causes--esp. the Haiti Reach Out. I will send a check in his name to this worthy effort. Thoughts and prayers go to Lucy and your entire family. Sincerely, mj wagner

i will always have so many memories of arne as we were neighbors most of the time i was growing up.I lived across the street and I was the babysitter for his daughter elana and son daniel for years and My mom,and friend Aimees family all became like an adopted family with arne and his wife katharine.what an incredible man he was.Loving,gentle,trustworthy and the perfect example of a male role model..we all adored him very much,and will keep everything he showed and taught us in our hearts and minds..Sending unconditional love to Katharine,Elana,Daniel,Mariel and Anaia..lean on your friends and family we are all here for you.

We don't have any relative in here, except Christian family.
And I don't have hundred and thousand friend in USA. But I do have few that I can count on my right hand. My dear brother arne is one of them.

There are few people who have impacted the Christian community in Wallingford (and indeed in CT) more than our dear friend, Arnie Yaghzisian. I am so grateful to have known him and struggle to accept the reality of such a great loss.

Catherine and family,
Arne will be greatly missed by all of us. But we take comfort in knowing he is home with his Lord. I will always cherish the memories of working with Arne in Haiti and the joyful spirit he brought everyone touched by him.
