i just got the news and im a little overwhelmed to say the least, i'm gonna miss that ludek grin the most, i feel fortunate that we lived in the same area and i was able to see him weekly at foodbag and able to give him a friendly wave as he walked his dog, my kids got to know him too and i'm sure they have heard more than enough storys of when we played hockey together, my deepest condolences to milo & family my heart goes out to all of you

It seemed like nothing bothered Lou. Ha was always happy, and always had a smile. I had a wonderful time in Ct. the last time I saw Lou, and the snowball fight, and hearing about the camper and fun he had, and the plans he was making to use it again. I am just in total shock now.

my most memory was the first time i met lou my sister was having test done and we had to go to conn to help her and that was the first time i met lou he opened the door for us and said hi im lou all i can remember was how handsome he was such a polite man easy to talk to and told my sister how lucky she was. lou you will be missed so much we all love you.

A recent memory I have of Lou was recently visiting and he was having a snowball fight with my son Preston in the back yard and showing us a tour of his camper & telling us how much he loved to take it down to Florida everytime him and my aunt went.
When the summer came I took my son Preston fishing & took some pictures of the fish he caught to make sure Dede showed them to Lou to let him know that there is another fisherman in the family because Lou loved to fish! :)
He was an incredible artist and I have a portrait he drew of my son that completely shocked me when I saw it because I had no idea Lou could draw! He was a man of many talents indeed.
Another great memory was when I was about 10 years old, I visited my aunt and Lou like I did for a week once a year and he was watching Bob Villa and getting right into the program like a sports fanatic watching a football game. HaHa!
There will be many things about him that I will remember, but most of all I will remember him being just a nice guy who loved his family and friends a lot.
I will miss you Lou!
