WALLINGFORD - Lou Jungmann, 47, of Geneva Avenue, Wallingford, beloved companion of 23 years of Diane Shiek, departed this life on Monday, March 14th at his residence unexpectedly. Lou was born on June 19, 1963, in the Czech Republic, son of Miloslav and Jaroslava (Malec) Jungmann. He worked as a General Contractor operating his company known as Yungmann Company. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, dirt biking, camping, painting pictures of his friends and family, and building things. Lou was always a friendly person, willing to help anyone who needed it. He also loved gardening. He will be remembered most as a loving companion, son, brother, and friend to all. He will sadly missed by his partner Diane Shiek of Wallingford, his parents Miloslav and Jaroslava Jungmann of Wallingford and his brother Milo Jungmann of Wallingford in addition to his beloved dog, Gizmo and a close friend and colleague Al Misiascek of Yalesville. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Friday, March 18th to form a funeral procession at 9:00 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 18th at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Wallingford at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
