I have spent the weekend trying to process this. Many years ago after graduating with our Master's Degrees in Communication Disorders from SCSC, Cathy, Teri and I began our careers in the Wallingford Public Schools. Teri and I watched Cathy's rise to fame with her impressive and distinguished career in the specialty field of Fluency Disorders. We watched her move to NYC as she begin to dedicate herself to assisting those individuals with the elusive challenge of fluency. She was an inspiration to her clients. She was an inspiration to her colleagues. She was a very special human being. My heartfelt condolences to her family and to all the people whom she touched.

My heartfelt sympathies are with Jon, Dick, Robert & John and their families with the loss of Cathy. She was such a vibrant person, so full of life. I have great memories of her and our times as friends in our childhood days. There are just so many. She has always held a special place in my heart and I am deeply grieving for her. She was so filled with life that it is hard to believe she is no longer with us. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
