Hello, I have worked at the Village at Kensington Green since February in the Activities Dept as an intern and immediately took a great shine to Sally. She struck me as being a great person. I would usually get a smile or eye contact when I greeted her, which made my day! She let me rub lotion on her hands and we would talk. I found her to be quite pleasant and enjoyed spending one on one time with her. I was very sad to hear that she had moved to Miller Memorial and had wanted to visit her there. I am even more sad to say I never had the chance to see her again once she moved. I am taking classes at Middlesex to earn my certificate in Therapeutic Recreation and that prevented me from attending the memorial service on Thursday. I read the obituary in the Record Journal and was very impressed by all she had done in her life. I knew she was a special person and that article proved it. Please accept my condolences and prayers for your loss of a wonderful person. I am so very happy I had the opportunity to know Sally, even if for such a short time. Take care, Corinne Williams

Sally was a role model for me back when she was on the Board of Directors at the Family YMCA. Her quiet dignity and beautiful spirit have always stayed with me, and I feel blessed to have known her.

I remember Sally as a very energetic go-getter - a determined woman that got things done - and that was when she was already a senior citizen. It was certainly my privilege to know her, and learn from her experience ... even if we didn't always agree. Sally was strength, knowledge, experience, integrity and energy in one tight little bundle. I hope Heaven has an opening ready for her ... on the board of directors! Happy Trails, Sally.

Memories are precious. I met Sally while we both volunteered for Habitat for Humanity in Wallingford. She was a sweetheart, intelligent and always on the go. She is fondly remembered.
